Who takes care of the distribution, and how much does the author get?

Program 1: This program does not include distribution in bookstores. It is intended more for organizations, associations, corporations and institutes with their own in-house distribution, which is often substantial, considering the number of employees, members and/or clients.

Program 2: This program allows your book to be sold through our distribution network, which is always growing. Thanks to this network, your books will be effectively promoted in both Canada and the United States.

Is there anything you will not publish?
We cannot assure you that all books from all authors will be published. For example, if a book falls short of our usual standards and if the author refuses to rewrite his manuscript or to have it rewritten, or if a book appears to contain libellous material, we will not publish it.

What control do I have over production?
You maintain complete control at all times. To ensure that your book content is accurate, you proofread and initial each and every page. You do likewise for the front cover and the message on the back cover.

Is self-publishing advantageous tax-wise?
It is indeed. The money you invest in the production of your book plus all related costs are considered expenses tax-wise. This investment is thus deductible from revenues generated by your book. If, during the first year, these revenues are not high enough to repay your investment, you can declare a loss. In certain cases, this loss can be applied to other incomes. If your taxation rate is high, wouldn't it be smarter to invest in a book instead of paying taxes?
